GPET Research Week

The GPET Research Week will be held from the 15 July-22 July. It is an initiative for registrars, medical educators, supervisors, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and others interested in GP education.

It is a FREE innovative, educational event which is conducted online via distance education. You are able to join certain meetings that interest you in the program, most of these are held after hours. I have attached a pdf of the timetable to this email or you can access it by clicking on this link: https://www.rrmeo.com/gpet/dls_rrmeo.pl?a=welcome&page=calendar.

Monthly Skype Catch-Ups

We would like to ensure that all ISPRN members can stay in touch and we would like to brain-storm about different ways that we can stay in touch with you.

One way we have come up with is a monthly skype catch-up. We thought that it would be a good forum to talk about the progression of ISPRN research projects and also as a tool to provide distance workshops to you! We thought that if we conducted these afterhours that it may be easier for you??

However, these are only our thoughts and we would like to know how you feel about it? Do you have any suggestions?

Educational Modules

Dear ISPRNers,

You will find that Bridget has posted a whole stack of research resources online. These are available if you click the ‘Educational Modules’ link in the menu bar at the top of the ISPRN blog webpage. Bridget has also commenced a short summary of each resource, to be completed over the next few weeks. There are also more resources to be posted.

The educational modules are a constant work in progress. If you have any resources you think may be of value, or any suggestions or comments on the resources available, please let us know.

Cheers

Andrew Bonney
