Bear Hunter Photography

Rob is a painter based in the Illawarra

They’ve visited Antarctica twice, once in 2004 on a trip through the Ross Sea, from Hobart to Cape Sound and returning via Macquarie Islands, Campbell Island and Auckland Island; then again in 2006 on a trip to the Antarctic Peninsular, travelling from Ushuaia to the Peninsula and returning via the Drake Passage.

“To be able to visit both sides of the Antarctic continent was a privilege. I found the expeditions were sensorially overwhelming; each day revealed innumerable sights that took my breath away.”
