Academic position available, Level B, School of Liberal Arts, University of Wollongong

The School of Liberal Arts at the University of Wollongong invites applications for an academic appointment (Level B) for which the principal duties are to deliver specific subjects within our Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation degree. The position will be offered for a 6 year fixed-term period.

  • Fixed Term, full-time appointment (6 years: February 2022 to December 2027)
  • Level B:  $100,306  + 17% superannuation

Applicants should have a PhD in a Liberal Arts/Humanities discipline and a background in relevant scholarship as required to fulfil specific teaching needs. Appointees will have a demonstrated track record, appropriate to level of appointment sought, in research and in, producing influential, high quality publications and acquiring grant applications which feature in an active, forward-looking, impactful program of research.
